I find that even though it is an employees market, I still do not have the confidence to really ask for the flexiblity of hours I would like. I have seen too many part timers stall their careers as it is assumed that if you only want to work 4 days per week, you are no committed to the job. I hope given what you have discussed, that this is changing.
